"Have days been cut from postal service"

As with another review it feels like post is not now delivered every day (live in a rural area) and then a pile of post arrives in one go. I know some have been very delayed. Other friends locally have noticed similar patterns. Our posties are very good and there is no problem with delivery later in the day. If this is not the case and it is just coincidence then please respond. I have tried phoning but the number cuts off after a couple of rings..
