"A time I will NEVER forget"

I would like to take this opportunity to thank everyone at Bar Methodist Church for making the army apprentices at Penny Pot Lane so welcome during my 3 years there from February 1957 until December 1959.

We attended the church every Sunday and were always invited out to Sunday Lunch by members of the congregation. We joined their youth section and took part in many of their indoor and outdoor functions, it was just great to take part in so many of these events and functions over the years we served there.

At 75 years of age now I am always looking back at those very happy days, could you please pass on my thanks to everyone at the church.
